I first saw the Mickey Mouse Backpack available in Primark through @disneyfind on Instagram and I fell in love. It is the most amazing design, perfect for any Disney fan. The only thing that put me off slightly was not knowing how big it was. By the photos I saw it didn’t look like it wouldn’t be very big and I always take so much stuff everywhere I go so I knew it would be an issue if it turned out to be really small. I took a screenshot of the Instagram post I saw and knew that I would make my mind up when I spotted it in person, secretly hoping it was an okay size because I did really love the design!
Earlier this week I went into Primark hoping to see the backpack (and so many other things on my never ending Wishlist) so that I could make up my mind whether the backpack would be practical as well as amazing in design. I loved it the second I saw it. I instantly picked one up and knew I had to have it. It was only £9 as well which is an amazing price. The quality feels good enough that I can see it lasting for the foreseeable future and I know that I am going to get so much use out of the bag.
The design of the bag is perfect, I absolutely love the Mickey ears at the top of the bag! I also love how it comes with two Mickey inspired key rings. Whilst it isn’t the biggest bag I own, it definitely isn’t as small as I thought it would be. The bag has a small zipped pocket at the back of the bag on the inside which I would usually use to hold something like headphones or my keys. There is also a pocket on the front of the bag. I think that this pocket could have been designed better as it doesn’t zip so I would worry about putting anything of high value inside incase it fell out. I think if they added a zip to the pocket it would have made a massive difference.
I have included some images below that show you what I have been able to fit inside the bag to give you an idea of the size. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount that I could fit in the bag as I managed to fit everything that I would generally take out with me. It is worth noting that my phone is the iPhone 7 plus and it doesn’t fit in the front pocket but does easily fit in the main section of the bag. The only thing that doesn’t fit inside the bag that I would potentially wish to take out with me is my camera.
Inside the bag I also have a Beauty and the Beast coin purse from Primark which was £3. I have managed to fit a lot of the items that I carry on a day-to-day basis inside the coin purse. I find having these smaller items contained in a purse is the easiest way to ensure that I don’t lose anything and makes them easy to move from bag-to-bag.
Hope you enjoyed this look into the new Mickey Mouse backpack from Primark. I absolutely love the bag and I am so glad I purchased it. I am going to get so much day-to-day use out of it and it will be perfect as my park bag for Disneyland Paris and DisneyWorld later this year. I would definitely recommend it especially after seeing how much I have been able to fit inside the bag.
